Bangkok, 19 May 2026 – Long remembered by many Thais as the familiar sight of “aerobic dancing in front of Lotus’s,” CP AXTRA, through Makro–Lotus’s, is bringing the iconic community activity back to life amid the growing “Aerobic Fever” trend now going viral across social media. The initiative is being expanded into a new model of health-focused community spaces through the “Aerobic Dance FIT EAT FUN” and “DANCE LIKE A PRO” activities, under the concept of becoming a ‘Retail & Lifestyle Platform.’ The company aims to transform its stores and shopping centers into more than shopping destinations, but into “Spaces of Happiness” that connect people, communities, and lifestyles together.
Lotus’s is reimagining the legendary “Aerobics in Front of Lotus’s” into the lively “Aerobic Dance FIT EAT FUN” activity, inviting people to move, have fun, and energize their health together in an atmosphere filled with positivity and excitement. The program is being held across more than 42 branches nationwide, including Chiang Mai Hang Dong, Phuket, Ubon Ratchathani, Khon Kaen, and Bangkok, encouraging local communities to come together through accessible activities suitable for all ages. The experience is further enhanced with appearances by artists and entertainers, as well as rotating dance instructors with different styles each week, continuously creating fresh and engaging experiences for participants. Most recently, Lotus’s Bangna welcomed famous lukthung singer Hay Apaporn, drawing overwhelming participation and filling the activity area with excitement.
“Aerobic Dance FIT EAT FUN” takes place every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lotus’s Bangna. Participation is free of charge, with souvenirs available for the first 100 registered participants on-site. The activity has received an enthusiastic response, attracting large crowds and reflecting the growing strength of Thailand’s health-conscious community. Lotus’s branches nationwide continue to organize aerobic activities regularly to encourage people to exercise, prioritize their well-being, and spend quality time together within their communities through inclusive “Happiness Spaces” open to all genders and ages—creating a familiar and vibrant lifestyle culture across the country.
At the same time, Makro is extending the energy and excitement through its “DANCE LIKE A PRO” activity, which combines fitness with upbeat music and energetic dance choreography, catering to active lifestyle enthusiasts and younger generations who enjoy stylish workouts. The first session kicked off on 15 May at Makro Sathorn, featuring special guest Dada Miss Grand Kalasin 2026 as the lead dance instructor, bringing vibrant energy and close interaction with participants. The campaign will continue touring other Makro branches to spread fitness inspiration and lively entertainment nationwide.
Both Makro’s “DANCE LIKE A PRO” and Lotus’s “Aerobic Dance FIT EAT FUN” are part of CP AXTRA’s broader strategy to build a nationwide health and lifestyle ecosystem. The company aims to establish strong wellness communities while transforming its branches and shopping centers into lifestyle hubs that seamlessly integrate lifestyle and wellness dimensions—from family leisure spaces to health-promoting activities that foster happiness, relationships, and better quality of life for people across Thailand.
