Bangkok Phayao, September 15, 2025 – Lotus’s, a leading retail brand under CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, joined hands with the Phayao Fresh Greens Community Enterprise, the Chiang Kham District Agriculture Office, and the Community Development Office to organize the “Phayao Best Products Festival: Safe Agriculture, Fresh Greens, Clear Water” at the activity plaza of Lotus’s Chiang Kham branch.
The event aims to uplift farmers’ income, promote community-based economic growth, and extend the “Hug Nam Yom – Phayao Model” project, which focuses on conserving and rehabilitating the headwaters of the Yom River while creating local jobs and livelihoods. The festival was officially opened by Mr. Chaiyakrit Pingmuang, Chief District Administrative Officer, with strong participation from local government officials. Cultural performances by students of Chiang Kham Wittayakhom School highlighted local traditions and created a lively atmosphere.
Lotus’s Chiang Kham branch is supporting the festival by providing event space every Thursday throughout September, positioning the store as a “Happy Community” hub a center for daily life where people and communities can connect. The festival features a wide range of local products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, processed agricultural goods, OTOP items, food, and beverages produced by local farmers, women’s groups, and small-scale entrepreneurs.
This initiative creates a vital platform for direct connections between producers and consumers, generating local income circulation and expanding market opportunities for smallholder farmers. The event also receives support from the Government Affairs and Sustainability Development Office of Charoen Pokphand Group, reinforcing CP AXTRA’s commitment to a business model that grows alongside society, the environment, and the grassroots economy in a sustainable way.
