Recently, Khun Suphanan Chanlaset, SGM of Makro Sathorn store and employee representative delivered 1,250 sets of essential dry food products such as vegetable oil, soybeans, seasoned salt, to deliver to Myanmar people affected by the new wave of COVID-19 pandemic in Mahachai area, Samut Sakhon Province through the Embassy of the Republic of Myanmar in Thailand. The goods were received by H.E. U Myo Myint Than, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Thailand. In the past, Siam Makro PLC supported necessities for living and protective equipment to help and give encouragement to the people of Myanmar and medical personnel in the border provinces. Including detention centers in various communities in Yangon including Makro employees in Myanmar and their families residing and working at the Myanmar store as well.
