Sharing Time & Happiness: Clean up Bang Saen beach, Chonburi province

Human and nature are closely bonded with one another for a long time. Humans heavily rely on nature in order to survive. We as a species are highly dependent and are intertwined with nature.

Khun Supat Srilo SGM of Makro Chonburi invited his staff to participate in the walk-run for health against drugs activity to inspire them to become more health conscious for themselves as well as their family. This is a great opportunity for the supervisors and staff to bond with one another fostering teamwork and have great health for all which will result in happy workplace as well.

Khun Supat or P'Phat shared with us that after the workout, he invited his staff to collect garbage from the beach to disable the cycle of pollution which endangers marine animals and the atmosphere. During the monsoon season, the waves will wash the garbage from the back to the shore. Therefore, we join forces to collect garbage before the waves drag the garbage back into the sea again which marine animals will be endangered by swallow the garbage and risk their lives doing so. Makro Chonburi staff who have joined this activity became more aware of the situation which lead to becoming more conscious of the aftermath of what is at stake.

Therefore, we would like to invite Makro family to join hands in eliminating, handling and reducing waste as well as instilling the ideas to further help protect the environment.
