Today, many prisons have opened up areas for inmates to practice vocational training. After serving time they will have a career as well as Nonthaburi prison.

The project develops professional skills in food business for the 60 inmates in Nonthaburi prison who close to release by training 6 menus that are easy to make and sell in order to prepare before release and be able to start a new life. Khun Nisakorn Wisitsornat Deputy Governor of Nonthaburi Province presided over the activity at Nonthaburi prison. Makro aims to train 300 people by the end of 2020 with a long-term plan to continuously create career for inmates from prisons across the country.
