Makro (Cambodia) Company Limited by Khun Yuttapoom Jarernsuk, Managing Director together with The Ministry of Commerce, by H.E. CHAN Sokty, Project Director and Director General of AIMS signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Trade Promotion Cooperation and Development of Agribusiness Value Chains through the Smallholder Agricultural Market Promotion Project (AIMS). The MOU was to ensure prices and expand the market for Cambodian agricultural products. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Commerce with the participation of the Ministry of Commerce.
The Smallholder Market Promotion Project is a joint project of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to increase linking agro-trade and markets operation in 18 provinces. The project will be intervening on five commercial value chains such as vegetables, chickens, rice and cassava.
