Siam Makro Public Company Limited, led by Khun Siriporn Dechsingha, Chief Corporate Communications Officer together with Khun Kwanjai Suttibut Store General Manager of Makro Phetchabun and store staff team passed on the knowledge of basic cooking for trade such as Pad Thai with shrimp, pizza, sticky rice with grilled pork, French fries shakes and Sole beverages. These menus can lead to a career with using limited amount of investment and also preparing skills to the 100 inmates at Khae Noi Temporary Prison and Phetchabun Prison, Petchabun province. Khun Niwet Han Samut, Deputy Governor of Phetchabun presided over the opening ceremony of "Returning good people with decent career to society" project and was welcomed by Khun Wanpen Wonwaikittisin, Phetchabun prison commander.
This project "Returning good people with decent career to society" is a collaboration between Makro and the Department of Corrections to give encouragement, confidence and inspiration to the inmates to have an honest job and be self-reliance and not making the same mistakes again in the future.
