Siam Makro PLC led by Dr. Anan Watcharapongvinij, Director - Construction & Facilities Management together with Khun Komol Mingphonsamarn, Section Manager – General Affairs of Makro Chachoengsao store received 3 plaques from Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) participation at the “Together we reduce Global Warming” annual event 2020.
The event was organized by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) to honor business operators and various sectors that set good examples in managing and reducing domestic greenhouse gas emissions. The awards received included:

- Solar energy from solar roof
- Replace all lights bulbs with high-efficiency LED lamps project
- Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) project for Chachoengsao store and Marko head office building
The plaques were presented by Khun Jatuporn Buruspat Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , Chairman of ceremony at The Berkeley Hotel, Pratunam, Bangkok.
